I am writing this blog after very long but the reason remains unchanged. I have been part of the Anna Hazare agitation against corruption and am very upset with the way the entire issue has been dealt by the government. Again, We the people of India are at the receiving end. The anti corruption lokpal bill was first introduced to parliament for approval in 1969 and it has been discussed 9 times since then but our representative in parliament are not able to pass the strong bill on corruption. I was listening to the debate on Jan Lokpal Bill in Loksabha today and it was so ridiculous to listen our representatives who have been selected by us. All the MPs were talking about supremacy of Parliament and they were least concerned about the people on the street. Mr. Sharad Yadav made a insulting statement about the gathering at Ramlila Maidan and there is a clear learning that we the people need to exercise the right to vote very carefully in selecting our representatives.
