I am writing this blog after very long but the reason remains unchanged. I have been part of the Anna Hazare agitation against corruption and am very upset with the way the entire issue has been dealt by the government. Again, We the people of India are at the receiving end. The anti corruption lokpal bill was first introduced to parliament for approval in 1969 and it has been discussed 9 times since then but our representative in parliament are not able to pass the strong bill on corruption. I was listening to the debate on Jan Lokpal Bill in Loksabha today and it was so ridiculous to listen our representatives who have been selected by us. All the MPs were talking about supremacy of Parliament and they were least concerned about the people on the street. Mr. Sharad Yadav made a insulting statement about the gathering at Ramlila Maidan and there is a clear learning that we the people need to exercise the right to vote very carefully in selecting our representatives.

Politics or Poll Tricks

India has gone through such a bad time because of the attack on Mumbai which made all the true Indian cry, which has brought all the true Indian together but what a shame for all of us that we are being ruled by such a disgusting lots of Politicians.

" I was frightened" said a politician who has the responsibility of leading and safeguarding the common people like us. This is politician is the MP of BSP who was stranded in Taj while the rescue operation was going on and security guards were fighting the terrorists.

"Itne bade shahar me ekhada hadsa ho jata hai" (An untoward incident like this can happen in such a big city like Mumbai) - Well said by Mr. Dy CM. Am surprised with the solidarity shown by R R Patil. Unfortunately, we are the one to select the politicians like him for taking care of common people like us.

A seemingly unconcerned Deshmukh turned up at the devastated Taj and Trident Hotel
for what was described by critics as "disaster tourism". He had for company film director Ram Gopal Verma and his actor son Ritiesh. A solemn moment was reduced to a spectacle. The Chief Minister was clearly unconcerned about insensitivities or about the impending questions of his survival.

Raj Thakery & Company/ Family busy in marginalising the efforts of martyrs by the importance to caste and creed at the time when India wants to stand up united against terrorism.

" I was suppose to come yesterday but was requested by CM/ Dy CM to postpone the visit" said BJP chief minister from Gujarat. Why could you not wait and why were you asked to wait to visit Mumbai... The answer is the poll and the opportunity to influence the poll results. I do not remember if Mr Modi was in Mumbai after serial train blast.

Achuthanandan had on Monday created a furore by his remark -- "If it had not been (Major) Sandeep's house, not even a dog would have glanced that way" -- after the commando's father refused to meet him. What does this kind of statement mean? especially, from a responsible politician.

It is so sad and depressing that these shameless Politicians involved in pure poll tricks without having any interest in what has happened and why it has happened, just trying to turn all the stones for Poll Tricks by cheap and derogatory gestures and remarks.

Dear Indians, Time has come to get up, wake up, stand up together against all these politicians. Lets ensure that we are able to keep them out from the Indian Political System. Lets not forget what we have undergone. Lets keep this revolutionary feeling alive.

Demographics of the terrorist is very interesting, age between 20 -25 years, educated, employed, ambitious and ready to be driven by the leaders. It is a different story they have had the wrong leaders but our leaders are no way different, rather they are worst than the terror leaders giving the wrong direction. At least terror leaders are using the power of youth and giving them some direction but here in India, no one is there to drive the youths and use them to make India a better and a competitive place.

I appreciate the efforts taken by many of the NGOs, youth organisations and individuals who have come forward to bring in the new wave, fresh perspective to New India. I would want to contribute equally to such organisations for the only cause - Making India a better place to live in.

Am working as VP - Sales for the MNC Bank in Mumbai. I am very much moved by the attacks and I am determined to be relevant now by my existence as an Indian. The only religion I follow is of being Indian. Lets get along and use our power of being Indian and Youth as well.

Would appreciate if I can get support from all those who are willing to contribute to make India a better place to live in. Am looking for Volunteers to help the cause. As of now, Let me be frank enough that I have been thinking the way every common man thinks but I cannot continue this way anymore. The " Chalne Do" attitude has given the way to such attacks and shameless politics in India. I want to run campaigns on educating voters, running a grievance forum, representing the common man in the government dept, fighting corruption and red-tapism.

Please do write back to me, I would reply your mail with my contact details but Please remember, Lets not stop here. If we feel sad, please gather courage to get united. Lets make sure that all the terrorists who have come by vote or boat are dealt in the Right way.

Thanks and Regards

How can we make India a better place to live in?

The terror attack on Mumbai has been sad, disappointing and painful. Terrorism is one area we have rediscovered that needs lot of attenetion. We also have Eductaion, health, infrastructure, banking sytem, legal framework as the core issues which needs equal attention. The question is how can we as a common man contribute the New India?
